Canyon Hills Treatment Facility (CHTF) is a two-unit, staff-secured, 24-bed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) located in Hoke County. CHTF offers specialized residential services for male adolescent ages 6 to 17.
Mission Statement
We are committed to providing high-quality and compassionate behavioral health services to those in need.
Our purpose is to serve youth who have aggressive behaviors and who are exhibiting problematic behaviors associated with a psychiatric diagnosis. The adolescent who makes up this program are not currently able to live in a family situation or community-based group home environment due to the severity of their behavioral problems and potential to harm themselves or others. Our experienced and professional team is skilled in working effectively with males coping with behaviors associated with sexual trauma, PTSD, depression, self-injurious behavior, and substance abuse. CHTF key components of treatment are trauma-informed care, in which our team utilizes exposure-based cognitive behavior therapy to help Psychiatric services.

Our Canyon Hills Academy provides superb education for grade levels K to 12. We focus on male children and we are committed to helping them reach their potential and find success.
